Coastal Elegance
Original photos of this home’s interiors prove it was a sight to behold back in its day (the turn of the last century). It was just a matter of time before it was restored to its former grandeur. After the homeowners completed a series of exterior renovations and improvements to the beautiful waterfront property, they reached out to Anita to concentrate on the interiors. The project was extensive; it included the renovation of the living, dining, and family rooms, a sunroom, three bathrooms, a powder room, a master bedroom and closets. An important piece of the project was the restoration of the original millwork with new wall finishes. A former sun porch was reimagined as a library with beautiful wood paneling to complement the rest of the home. The home was furnished with thoughtfully sourced antiques and antique lighting, new furnishings, rugs and artwork. Today the interiors are a perfect match for the home’s location, exceptional views and beautifully manicured grounds. It’s back to the past, in style.
