Four Gables
This seaside beauty in a quiet, North Shore town came into its own under Anita’s thoughtful direction. Because the clients had young children, the home had to be designed with practicality as its top priority. The project was completed in stages, mirroring the growth of the family. Initially Anita was asked to decorate and furnish the first-floor family room, breakfast room, kitchen and powder room. When the clients were expecting their second child, they called on her again to renovate the master suite (including the bathroom and closets), the children’s room and the lower-level playroom. After the baby’s arrival, they resumed the redo by adding the main entry, living, dining and office/craft room to the transformation. Over time, with patience and a calming color palette, this blank canvas was artfully turned into a warm, fully decorated home with classic style.
